The woman here don’t have an easy journey and has to face a lot of ruthlessness but still has to go with a smiling face. Soumen Das is bringing such a short film, GRAY SHADES OF LIFE in front of us under the banner of Sayanhya Entertainment which shows the hardships woman faces in a red light area. The story revolves around Anirbaan, who wanted to be a very efficient journalist. He used to dream that When he will become a journalist, he will do many good social works. But in reality, his office politics and lobby-ism stopped him in many ways. At that time, he got one opportunity to prove his efficiency. Today’s sex workers of the red light area do not make money as they once used to be. Their working place is being possessed by escort service, where college going student to high-status housewives are giving this service. But why they are coming? For which attraction? What is the difference, how much difference is between red light sex workers and escorts service? These are the things Anirbaan had to investigate and had to make an article. During this investigation he got some unusual information in his hand which can make human soul shimmered, there are so many difference between these two type of prostitutes. Still, some stay in the society with high prestige and on the other hand, some get into that red light zone and cannot come to back to the healthy society.

The short film has many good and talented actors in lead roles like Moumita Mitra, Rinkie Dey, Biswajit Das, Ahsaan Khan, Soumen Das, and Abhishek Rudra. The story, editing, and the direction is done by Soumen Das. The make-up is done by Shyamali Das Ghosh and the DOP & dubbing is done by Saikat Das. The short film will be a critical success for sure as it will give us a lot of questions to think like Why is the beauty so superficial? You may be fair and I’m dark, but I still feel beautiful.
