Jawker Dhan : Sayantan’s Treasure Seekers puts up a Brilliant Show!

Treasure hunt movies have their special ways to hallucinate the audiences. Most of us have grown up watching J. Lee Thompson’s – Mackenna’s Gold, Spielberg’s Indiana Jones Series, Pirates Of the Caribbean, The Da Vinci Code and many more Hollywood classics. Coming back to closer home, Tollywood’s debutante director Sayantan Ghoshal has taken up the challenge of making a movie in this genre which is a rarity in the Bengali movies. Though there are plenty of stories written in Bengali on treasure hunting but seldom have those been put up on silver screen.

Starring Parambrata Chatterjee, Rahul Banerjee, Priyanka Sarkar, Sabyasachi Chakraborty and other Jawker Dhan’ is a movie which will definitely entertain you with its strong story line and sublime acting from the star casts. The story starts with a mysterious horse rider rescuing a treasure trove in a jungle after much hurdle. The same trove then becomes the goal of two Kolkata residents Bimal ( Parambrata) and Kumar ( Rahul).

The script is slick and Sayantan has kept the momentum going till the end through camera work and visual effects. Humor has been blended well with suspense and the music is also well composed by Meemo. Only in the climax portion the background score was over whelming and interrupted nosily with the visual effects otherwise the movie is brilliantly made. We would recommend you to watch it on big screen to get the feel of this unique adventure.
