With Helicopter Eela in his kitty; there seems to be no stopping for Riddhi Sen

Sky is the limit and this saying seems to be true for the super talented Riddhi Sen who is now gearing up for his Bollywood outing Helicopter Eela. Riddhi shares screen space with the iconic Kajol in this Pradeep Sarkar directorial. The 19-year-old actor, who had recently been awarded the best actor for Nagarkirtan in the 65th National Film Award, will essay the role of Kajol’s son in the movie. Incidentally this would be Riddhi’s second venture with Ajay Devgn who in collaboration with Jayantilal Gada is bankrolling the project. Parched has been the first Ajay Devgn production where the Bengali actor, starred.

Written by Mitesh Shah and Anand Gandhi, the plot of the film is based on the Gujarati play Beta Kaagdo, written by Anand Gandhi. Kajol here enacts the role of a single mother as well as an aspiring singer. Actor Tota Roy Chowdhury is also a part of the movie which is having an ensemble cast of Neha Dhupia, Shataf Figar, Atul Kulkarni and Mukesh Rishi. However Tota’s character has been kept under wraps.

With this social drama, our much loved Kajol is returning on the 70mm post a sabbatical of 3 years. Helicopter Eela narrates the bonding between a mother and her son and deals with reinventing parenting techniques for 2018, as Ajay Devgn has tweeted. The poster which was released earlier this month showcases a euphoric Kajol clenching the strings of her puppet –Riddhi who seems to be terrified with his mother’s vigil and incessant watchfulness. She is here, there and everywhere goes the tagline which provides a befitting semblance with the poster.

Tota and Riddhi who are both from the Bengali film industry are genuinely on cloud nine to be a part of this prestigious project. Sharing the screen space with superstar Kajol is no mean feat and here is waiting for the stellar performances of two versatile actors who will cast their spell at the box office again on the 14th of September this year.
